Well. Its come to the point where I almost canNOT sleep. Its getting so bad.
I've been having a lot of hip pains and pains on the sides of my legs. It starts to hurt when I lay down on my side. At first it would hurt really bad if I was lying my left side, then my right would hurt. I put a pillow between my leg, which helps, but now which ever side I am lying on really starts to hurt too.
Now it has gotten to the point where no matter which way I lay, my hips are in piercing pain. And my back has been in a lot of pain too. My belly is starting to get bigger so I guess it is just pulling on my back. I am trying to put a pillow under my stomach, which helps a bit, but my upper back still hurts a lot.
I tried sleeping in the recliner this morning, hoping that would help my hips. It helped me get to sleep, but my back was SO stiff and sore when I woke up. It was bad :(
Well Mom and Dad left for Florida today. Scott and I dropped them off early this morning at the airport. They're going to be gone for a whole week. I'm going to be SO lonely! Hopefully I can keep myself busy though! I have to finish the baby shower invites, and address them. Then Monday I'm going to go visit Jan and meet her new grandbaby, Tuesday I'm doing a crafting night with Kelly, then Wednesday I have yoga.
Scott and I had a nice day to ourselves today! It was 104 degrees here today. SO gross and humid outside! We went and looked at another used car dealership today, one that is currently offering a cash for clunkers deal. So we are looking at trading in his van and putting that money towards the car that we are going to buy.
Well, that's about all for now! More to come I'm sure! :)
34 weeks!
Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
