I'm utterly exhausted. Today is going to be terrible.
I cannot even think of what to type to put words to how tired I feel.
I just want to sleep. I just want to sleep for more than a few hours!!! I'm having a ton of nerve pain in my right hip; so laying on my right side hurts really badly. I'm also having a lot of nerve pain in my left arm and shoulder; so I can't lay on my left side too. Its getting really difficult.
I woke up at 5:30 am and haven't been able to go back to sleep since. Its frustrating because the more I try to sleep. And the harder I try, the more frustrated I get! The more I try to sleep, the more I realize that I'm not asleep yet and notice that I'm awake. None of that seems to make sense, and its all probably terrible grammar, but I just don't care right now!
This morning, to take the pain away, I knew I had to get up and sit on my bottom so the pressure was on both legs. So I continued working on my pregnancy scrapbook, and got a lot done actually. I just put on King of the Hill and scrapbooked for two hours. Then I came upstairs, spent some time on the internet and made pancakes.
I'm hoping that maybe a full stomach will help a little bit.
I just want to go back to sleep!
Macyn is sleeping :( I want to too!!
34 weeks!
Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
